2 lb Salted beef
1 lb . callaloo
1/2 lb yam
6 ochroes
2 clove garlic
2 stalks escallion
1 green pepper
2 chocho,sliced
1 sprig fresh thyme
  1. Wash and cut salted beef. Put beef in a pressure cooker with water, cook until beef is tender.
  2. When beef is cooked, wash and cut callaloo into small pieces then add to pot.
  3. Cut and peel yam, chocho and ochroes and add it to the pot.
  4. Add garlic, escallion, pepper and thyme to pot.
  5. Add dumplings(optional) to pot. Allow to simmer until soup is thickened.
